With a growing population of almost 21k, Elko, NV  is the largest city in Elko County, Nevada, and the economic hub in the Rub Valley region. It’s also the largest city between Salt Lake City, UT, and Reno, NV.

Elko’s climate is semi-arid. The average window for freezing temperatures is September 10 through June 9, keeping the growing season short.
